It has now been six weeks since the operation to have my right sided cancerous kidney removed. Slowly but surely I am on the mend but boy it is extremely hard work. The Australian Journey ten page article with its front cover red tepee image is distributed nationally across Australia this week. And I have a speaking engagement for early April at the Newcastle Writer’s Festival. The topic I plan to speak about will centre on my personal stories regarding the Lakota-Sioux War engagements at Little Bighorn, 1876 and Wounded Knee, 1890. Best wishes to everyone for 2013.
