It has certainly been a long and interesting journey from my humble beginnings on a Scottish Housing Estate on the outskirts of Edinburgh, Scotland in the early 1950’s. As a young child I marvelled at the new black and white television technology that brought stories of the Little Bighorn Battle into my living room along with the westerns serials each weeknight. It was this visual entertainment that left a lifelong interest and a need to discover what was the true history of the American Wild West.

The website tells my story in books, music and photographic imagery and what it was like to drive 200,000 miles on the open road across the Great Plains of the United States of America over a thirty-two year period from 1981 up to 2013. It was indeed a amazing journey and it is my pleasure to now be able to share my stories and images with interested parties in cyberspace. Enjoy!
